14 day photo safari encompassing Kenya, Uganda (and a little bit of Rwanda)

This is one of my favourite safari trips because we get to see (and photograph) some of the most amazing spectacles East Africa has to offer. A small group of us will set out from Nairobi and drive in an adventure truck through Kenya, Uganda and then make a quick trip over to Rwanda. We go from the incredible plains of the Masai Mara in search of big cats and other amazing animals, then to Lake Nakuru and over to Budongo Forest to track Chimpanzee, this is also a great taste of what is to come, because then we drive down to Lake Bunyonyi and spend some days in the land of volcanoes photographing mountain Gorillas. After this there is a special excursion to photograph Golden Monkeys in Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda (as well as a trip to the genocide museum in Kibali) before heading back to Nairobi.

The great thing about this trip is that it caters to different budgets. I have done this as a camping trip (which we offer) and it is magical, you can also stay in accomodation along the way which we organise. All the members stay at the same location and do the same activities. Some people will be on a trip of a lifetime, some may want to keep it cheap and focus on the photography. Both are possible.

We will do photo workshops along the way, covering the basics as well as advanced techniques. We will also look at animal behaviour and how to get the shot you are wishing for. We do a lot of driving on this trip, which gives me time to do one on one photo tutorials with anyone who wants them and as we are a group of like minded people, photography and sharing ideas is a big part of this trip.

** YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE A PHOTOGRAPHER! **

If you are not a photographer but want to come with us, you are welcome to do this and you might also get some nice pictures to show your friends! - If you are a someone who wants to get into photography, that is also fine. With a friendly non competitive atmosphere it is a great place to learn and develop your skills.

More details will be coming soon, so use the contact buttons to register your interest.
