DO YOUR TOURS INCLUDE FLIGHTS?

Our tours do not include any airfare.

DO YOU NEED TO BE A DIVER TO COME ON THE TRIP?

The humpback whale trips are snorkeling only; there is no diving allowed. There is also no need to dive, as the whales are at the surface most of the time.

Please note that Tongan law allows 4 guests in the water with a certified whale guide at a time. The boats take 6 guests, unless otherwise noted. You will rotate turns in the water with your group

HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR A TRIP?

All bookings are handled by my partner www.humpbackswims.com - You can click any of the BOOK NOW buttons on the site, or simply email info@humpbackswims.com. Once we have received your non-refundable deposit, your space will be confirmed. All our trips offer payment plans.

All trips require a non-refundable deposit of $1000 USD to confirm and reserve your spot on any trip. Each trip offers different due dates on payments leading up to the actual trip.

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

You can pay using a credit card with a 3.5% processing fee or, if you live in the United States, you can pay via an online bank transfer for $25 USD. You can also ask to pay via bank wire.

HOW CAN I PAY?

Tongan law allows 4 clients plus certified whale guide in the water at a time. Guests will rotate turns in and out of the water.

HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN SWIM WITH THE WHALES?

It is possible to leave a tour early. You will be responsible for all costs associated with joining a tour late or leaving early. If you feel this may be necessary, please contact us before you book your whale adventure. Your expedition cost will not change.

CAN I JOIN A TOUR LATE OR LEAVE IT EARLY?

Our packages include accommodation, because it is very hard to get a place to stay that’s decent during the whale season. This is why we book our accommodations years in advance, ensuring we have a range of quality accommodations to fit each budget.

CAN I GET MY OWN ACCOMMODATIOnS?

Airport transfers are included in the trip cost from Vava’u airport to and from our accommodations.

ARE AIRPORT TRANSFERS INCLUDED?

Visitors from most countries do not need a visa to enter Tonga (for a period of no longer than 31 days).
